I’m the new face on the golf team, for the local high school team, I am learning the hard way when it comes to packing away my irons and other supplies.Sometimes we don’t have the luxury of a golf cart to haul around our supplies so we need to be able to pull our own clubs.Some of our course’s you may face slippery slopes and very windy paths.
It becomes rather cumbersome to schlep our bags through 18 holes. We travel too, so I need very sturdy luggage to withstand the abuse of baggage handlers and my own bad handling habits.
I absolutely love this sport, but like anyone else cant help but wonder if there isn’t an easier way to be a successful golfer. Golf travel bags range from $99 and can exceed $3000.Low price golf bags won’t really afford me with the comfort and durability that I am used to.
I am just a beginner, but plan to be in this sport for the long haul. Tough materials like a heavy duty fabric, high abrasion, moisture and tear resistant with oversized in line skating wheels for even rolling action, highly durable rear skid plates to protect my bag when traveling in warm places.
I would also like a top handle that has a natural position that has a palm facing my body when I grab it. I need to pull this thing all day long and not get overheated. This box needs to have enough room to fit a beautiful tour bag. A very durable golf cart will also carry a cart bag and any stand or carry bag. The top part of the golf bag must have a lot of padding to protect my club heads and they need to have super heavy straps to secure my golf iorns into the golf travel bag.
My last set of clubs did not fare well on my last trip to Florida.Grant it, we switched rental cars twice and there were over 8 passengers. This makes for unnecessary bumping of other luggage in the cargo department.My pink/white golf clubs are becoming a silly my obsession.I made a simple mistake and used a second hand bag that wasn’t durable to endure such abuse. First, your bag needs to be airline acceptable.Barbara & Jim would like to hold up to a 48-inch driver and hold your golf bag comfortably inside.It needs to be lightweight, high-density polyethylene hard case with a double thickness side impact support.You should be able to collapse your travel bag with out difficulty to 24 inches for easy storage. One of the thorns in my side with a ill equipped bag is a poorly designed and cumbersome handle. An easy to control top handle must be strong enough to handle for lifting.And, last but not least a comfortable roller blade wheels provide for that smooth race from corridor to corridor.
